Took another 3 hours,
but I finally got the second white oak stump liberated from its tenacious hold
on the ground and rolled out of the sauna building hole. That done, went down to the Rutland Home
Depot, via Brandon, to do errands. Upon
return, went back to work digging in the hole.
I’m not often bothered by black flies (after all, they’re only around
for two weeks in May), but when I am, having the beekeeper’s helmet sure is
nice!
