Started clearing trees from the driveway. Chainsaw refused to start after the first few trees had been felled. Dave Bishop at Champlain Valley Equipment in Middlebury saved the day! A dirty air filter and a suboptimal spark plug were the problems, which Dave soon corrected… with no charge for his labor. Saw now runs like a champ! At the end of the day hung up another large maple right over the van-camp. This one the peeve did not solve. Nor did trying to tow it down with the van. Ultimately it came down four feet at a time… without taking out the Glassner’s power and telephone lines! A McD Big Mac and fries in Middlebury went down really easy after that adventure.
